Kathleen Lee Higgins

Born and raised in Louisiana, Kathleen is a vibrant speaker who has cultivated her faith life in the rich, Catholic culture of the South. Using story telling, humor and real life examples, Kathleen brings to life the faith and invites others to walk with Christ in the every day.

With over a decade of ministry experience, Kathleen has worked to keep the Church fired up about the faith we proclaim. She is a co-host of "The Catholic Underground", a podcast and nationally syndicated radio and television program. She speaks to young people and adults across the country.

Kathleen holds a bachelors degree in Theology from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans and completed her masters in Theology from The Augustine Institute in Colorado. She has taught theology for over ten years in Catholic high schools and currently serves the Diocese of Baton Rouge as Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

Whether she is speaking to teens at a confirmation retreat or encouraging adults to remember Christ in the mundane, Kathleen's one goal is to lead others to Jesus.

She is incredibly star struck by bishops and archbishops and her bucket list includes karaoke with Pope Francis.

Kathleen married her sweet Adam in November, 2021 and they welcomed their daughter Cecilia in July of 2024. They now live in Gonzales, Louisiana.

With joy and passion, Kathleen works to apply the message of the Gospel to our everyday life. Kathleen has worked with junior high, high school, young adults and adults alike. Whether it's a conference of a few hundred, or a small retreat group of a dozen, she sticks to one goal: leading others to Christ.

Kathleen has experience as emcee, keynote speaker, workshop leader, retreat facilitator and worship leader. She works to create an encounter with the Lord, specific to whatever needs a group may have.
